The Georgetown Township Fire Protection District is seeking dedicated and qualified individuals for the position of Firefighter. If you are passionate about serving your community and have the necessary certifications, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications
- Certified in Firefighter 1 and 2
- Haz-mat Awareness and Operations certification
- Minimum medical certification of Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
- Points awarded for possessing the listed certifications
- Must be at least 18 years old upon hire date
- Valid driver’s license and valid CPAT card required on date of hire
- No DUI or reckless driving charges within the last 3 years
- No felony convictions

- Starting salary: $52,468.48
- Annual wage increases according to the collective bargaining agreement with Local 5393
