GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Fire Chief of the Georgetown Township Fire Department on behalf of the Georgetown Township Fire Protection District (“Fire District”) until the date and time of December 5th, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., at Fire District Headquarters, 5610 Corydon Ridge Road, Georgetown, Indiana 47122 for the following:
SCBA package consisting of (30) complete SCBA Packs with spare bottles,(6) Quick fill/ Transfill Hose, (30) Buddy breathers, (60) GTFD Logo on cylinders, (1) 6 bank battery charger (1 to be included with the order), (30) RFID Tags, (1) RFID Writer/ Reader, (3) RIT Upgrade kits, (1) Fill station QC Adapter (1 to be included with the order).
Instructions to bidders and a bid specification package may be obtained at Fire District Headquarters Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by emailing email@example.com. All bids must be sealed and presented to the Fire Chief in accordance with the terms set forth in this notice and the instructions to bidders. Bids must remain good for at least 30 days after they are opened, and the Fire District reserves the right to accept a bid at any time during that 30-day period.
All bids will be opened at a special public meeting held by the Board of Fire Trustees of the Fire District on December 6th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Fire District Headquarters. The Fire District shall have the right to reject any and all bids. The Fire District also reserves the right to waive any irregularities in bidding. The anticipated award date and notification will be announced at a special public meeting on December 15th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Fire District Headquarters.
