The training division has been hard at work in April keeping our staff busy with a multitude of different trainings. We are checking out new residential construction within the district to familiarize ourselves with the construction styles, sent staff to FDIC 2017, and Jasper Fire School. Crew trainings have been on pump operations, water supply, ladder company operations, engine company operations, swiftwater operations, SCBA’s, hose advancement, airway management for EMS, and drivers training just to name a few. Our training’s have been built around strengthening our basic fundamentals and gaining knowledge in more complicated area.
Moreover, we are continuing to update our business preplans and mapbooks to assist us with knowing not only our business hazards but also our residential areas.
