GTFD was proud to rededicate it’s station 1 this past Saturday the 22nd. Family and friends all joined us in celebrating the opening of the firehouse to a 24/7 station. GTFD Drill School 2022

GTFD conducted its first-ever Drill School. Upon completion of the drill school and with existing staff GTFD was able to staff stations 1 and 2 24/7. Congrats to the new staff members and we look forward to providing Georgetown/ Georgetown Township with better service.

New Playground

Members of the Georgetown Township Fir Protection District teamed up with Louisville Metro Police Department to build a play set for fallen LMPD Officer Zachary Cottongim’s kids. GTFD and LMPD collected money from our staff to purchase the play set. It was installed today. (Not pictured is Chris Pellman and Logan Isenhower).
